2011 Ferrari 458

The Ferrari 458 Challenge has made its world premiere debut in Maranello during the Annual Dealer Meeting, a traditional event that brings together the representatives of Ferrari's international sales network.
The new berlinetta, which will flank the F430 Challenge in the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli in the 2011

 season, is the fifth model used by Ferrari in its one-make championship which, next year, will be extended to include a new Asia-Pacific series.

Coming just a few months after the 2010 Frankfurt Motor Show unveiling of the Ferrari 458 Italia on which it is based, the Ferrari 458 Challenge introduces a number of important modifications to adapt it for competition use.The direct injection 4497 cc V8 remains strictly in production tune, with an output of 570 hp at 9,000 rpm. That said, modifications have been made to the gear ratios and calibration of its dual-clutch F1 gearbox to guarantee higher torque at lower revs. The Ferrari 458 Challenge is also equipped with the E-Diff

electronic differential already employed on the road-going version, a first for Ferrari's track-only cars.
Significant work has also gone into cutting the car's weight. This focused on both the exterior and interior with Ferrari's engineers concentrating in particular on reducing the thickness of the bodyshell panels and on using lightweight materials, such as carbon-fibre and Lexan.

The new Ferrari 458 Challenge also has a specific suspension set-up with solid aluminium bushings, stiffer springs, single-rate dampers, centre-nut 19" racing rims, larger dimension Pirelli slicks and a ride height lowered by 30mm all round. It is also equipped with the new generation Brembo CCM2 brakes which debuted on the 599XX, Ferrari's extreme experimental laboratory car, and which are integrated with an ABS system that features two configurations - low grip and high performance for dry surfaces.

2012 Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am

The Ferrari 458 Grand Am is built to match the American regulations and is therefore different to the European car, especially in that it develops 500 horsepower and has less efficient aerodynamics than the GT version. ferrari enzo 2012

Over the next three years, Ferrari will introduce a new 458 Spider, Ferrari Enzo "special series", and four other new models.  The cars have been announced by Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne at a press conference earlier today.

The 458 drop-top and an all-new 612 Scaglietti with a V12 engine are scheduled for next year.  Referred to internally as the F151, the 612 Scaglietti may also be shown off as a hybrid model.

Marchionne also announced a "new special series Enzo" would join the all-new 599 GTB Fiorano (a.k.a. the F152) on the 2012 marketplace.  This will be followed up with a significant California Facelift, or as it is called inside the company, the "California M."  Also due for 2013 is a suped-up 458 Scuderia.

Look for both Ferrari and Maserati to make each of their models rather distinct, practically creating sub-brands within the two companies.  Sister automaker Maserati is also expected to release two new models, slotted below the GranTurismo, before 2015.

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Three different vehicles manufactured by Italian auto stalwarts Ferrari boasted the Ferrari 360 name. They were the Ferrari 306 Spider, a two door convertible; the Ferrari 360 Modena, which was an enclosed two door coupe model, and the Ferrari Challenge Stradale, which was the bare bones version of the Ferrari 360 Modena.
All three of the vehicles come with aluminum chassis and eight cylinder Configurations. The Ferrari 360 was later replaced by the 2004 vehicle known as the Ferrari F430.

The Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was launched in the year 2003 at the Geneva International Motor Show. The vehicle went in to production shortly after that. It has the distinction of being a model of stripped down performance rather than luxury, making it distinct from the other Ferrari 360 models.

The Ferrari 360 was well received all around. There were some critics, however, who objected to its handling as twitchy.
The Ferrari 360 was seen in a variety of different video games, including Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Forza Motorsport 2, Deus Ex, OutRun 2, Forza Motorsport, Project Gotham Racing, Project Gotham Racing 2, and Project Gotham Racing 3.
Cameron Diaz drove a Ferrari 360 in the 2000 film version of Charlie’s Angels.

Ferrari 248 F1

The Ferrari 248 F1 takes its name from its V8 Configuration. The capacity in deciliters is twenty four, while eight is its number of cylinders. The name of the automobile represents a definitive break with the F200x system that was employed between the years of 2001 and 2005. It effectively returns to a system that had been used before in the ‘50s and ‘60s by Ferrari.
The Ferrari 248 F1 was driven by Felipe Massa and Michael Schumacher. The Ferrari 248 F1 was the first Ferrari since the Ferrari F1 2000 that did not wear the Number One to denote that the driver was the current world champion. The vehicle also sported new sponsor decals, such as Martini.

The Ferrari 248 F1 was intended to be an update of the Ferrari F2005, which had been released the previous year. While the V8 Configuration utilized on the Ferrari 248 F1 was a lot shorter than the V10 used on the Ferrari F2005, both vehicles sport the same wheelbase

Ferrari F450

Ferrari F450 – an entirely new sport car, in style. It has a sharp and aggressive appearance. The F450 will be significantly lighter than the F430, aiding not only speeding up and handling, but also fuel economy.

The engine will be mated to a higher-performance version of the 7-speed twin-clutch gearbox. The Italian manufacturer will replace the current 4.3 liter V8 engine (of the F430 model) with a larger 4.5 liter V8. This is what will drive the name change from F430 to F450. The larger engine is expected to have a minimum of 500 horsepower. The Italian sports and racing car manufacturer is planning on increasing the fuel efficiency and lowering the carbon emissions of the new model.
The extra possibility of this new model is turbocharging. Ferrari brass have recently admitted that smaller-displacement, direct-injection turbocharged engines will be the future models.

With the launching of new Ferrari 450 model, the company will not wholly change its commercial corporate color from Red to Green. Still, it will be interesting to see how Ferrari integrates some of the ecology-friendly technology into the new model while delivering more power to stay ahead of the market competition.

The new Ferrari F450 is expected to unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September and planning to go on sale in the US in the middle of 2010. The F450 will be the replacement for the F430. So much excitement! But now reports coming out of Maranello suggest that the car’s unveiling is pushed back until December, in Los Angeles Autoshow
