2012 HONDA OSM

The OSM, or Open Study Model, is a two-seater roadster, like hybrid CR-Z sports shows for the first time at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show, designed to show that Honda can produce a car with low emissions yet is

lively and entertaining unit. As this is essentially a design concept, the mother may have about the Honda engine options, strange for a car that is promoted as environmentally friendly, we are not surprised to see the same CR-Z hybrid transmission.

In designing the OSM, which bowed at the British Motor Show, Honda aimed for a look that was “clean and dynamic.” Therefore, the similarities of the roadster shares a lot with the CR-Z, including a sweeping front end

with narrow LED lights and an air inlet open. The back is rounded and bulbous with a giant flag of LED taillights. In fact, the OSM looks like a convertible version of the CR-Z.
Sports touches abound inside, including a large red button on the Honda S2000. Many other interior parts

seems to have come from the CR-Z as the speedometer and tachometer two-storey dual agreement, indicators, steering wheel and funky. Steering wheel-mounted paddles also suggest the possibility of a sequential manual transmission.

The OSM was designed in the German design studio at Honda, and no plans for production. However, as Honda tries to ramp up hybrid sales in the coming years, we hope for the future of sports on offer, but, economically on the same line of the OSM.
